The dinning room at the Whip Hill historic house in Stoneham, MA features french applique wall covering depicting landscape scenes. The mural had become stained from water and moisture. After dry cleaning spots of obvious contamination, reversible paints were used to blend away the stains for successful wallpaper conservation.
